- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
